Are you a member of a Cheyenne area Christian congregation? If so, Habitat for Humanity is asking for your help.
On Saturday September 28 we'll bring together 100 volunteers of faith for a day of fellowship, volunteering, and showing love and kindness to some of our neighbors in need.
The Unaccompanied Students Initiative's facility on W. Fox Farm needs a sound abatement fence to quiet the roar of I-80. (Learn more about the need here). We'll be installing that fence, along with other projects to brighten the lives of the homeless students they serve. While we're at it, we'll also do a number of projects for Safehouse Services, including prepping garden beds for next year and creating "dog friendly" spaces for clients who have pets.
There will be projects for volunteers of all ages and abilities, check out the full list and sign yourself up, or get your bible-study group, church committee, youth group, or mens or ladies group together. Sign up now HERE
Together we'll show what is possible when people of faith come together to work in His name.

What if I do not belong to a Christian congregation and want to help?
Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County works with volunteers of all faiths (and non-believers as well!) But for the purpose of this day of service we have been tasked with gathering people of faith who attend local Christian churches.
Partners in Habitat for Humanity projects, such as home building and Habitat Repairs projects are selected based on need, never on religious affiliation. Habitat for Humanity believes in a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
