BLUEPRINT FOR THE FUTURE

Vocational based education,  creating engaged students and a strong future workforce.

Blueprint for the Future: Empowering Students, Building Homes

The Blueprint for the Future program is a collaborative partnership between Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County and the Laramie County School District 1 (LCSD1) Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program. This initiative provides students in the Advanced Construction classes with invaluable, hands-on experience in the home-building process.

Under the guidance of professional instructors and industry mentors, students actively participate in constructing Habitat homes for families in need. Through this program, students not only gain technical skills in carpentry, electrical work, and construction but also learn about the importance of community service and the lasting impact affordable housing can have on families.

By partnering with Habitat, students are empowered to apply classroom learning in real-world settings while directly contributing to the community, helping us build homes, hope, and a brighter future.

What does Blueprint Accomplish?
